Managed Train-to-Ground Communication and Controlled Remote Access

The RAR4000 platform provides OEM-independent fleet connectivity and controlled remote access. It is ideally suited as a managed communication layer for retrofitting key systems such as TCMS, traction batteries, HVAC, infotainment and other onboard systems. The platform supports diagnostics and remote control, data uploads and downloads, as well as local edge computing on the vehicle - for example, for event management, pattern recognition or data aggregation.

Its key strengths are its reliability and robustness at both hardware and software level, together with a real-time architecture that allows extremely flexible configuration of triggers and actions. Role-based access rights for different subsystems and complete documentation of every access operation reduce the operator’s workload. The functionality of the RAR4000 devices can be extended using modular components.
